Our Founder

MS JOYCE SEAH
MS JOYCE SEAH
Ms Joyce Seah spent almost two decades as a stay at home mum.
During this time, she volunteered as Head of Programmes and Services at a Student Care Centre. She wrote the Values Programme for the Centres, amongst the other workshops which she spearheaded. Her passion is in all things creative, all things to do with hands. As an educator, a Head of Department, before retiring from the school system, she oversaw the writing and wrote a subject curriculum in an independent school. She also volunteered at a primary school writing their moral education programme for the lower primary levels. Joyce is also a certified counsellor and spent a few years as a volunteer counsellor. It is therefore not surprising that she sees the therapeutic value in the crafts BeesyHands offers. Now, she devotes her time at BeesyHands as its Founder, writing workshop outlines, working closely with all Beesy instructors, to ensure that all workshops conducted are clear in their objectives and outcomes, personally learning all the crafts herself.

OUR BEESY INSTRUCTORS AND VOLUNTEERS

Have devoted more than a decade each nurturing our own children.

Are passionate about our hobbies, have learned them ourselves and know how our clients can benefit from them.

Believe that through these workshops, our clients can develop their own personal skills beyond the influence of a hyper digital world.

Created each workshop, not as an end in itself, but as a journey, each with a refinement of skills and content learned in earlier workshops, layer by layer.

Love the environment, and as much as we can, we try to imbue our workshops with Mother Earth in mind.
